Hey C_D is your CPUz messing up? Has a large white swatch across it where it normally shows Vcore. Or do you have it set to block out all Vcore over the max of 1.575V? Hehehe. Actually those are pretty darn good runs. I think from 4.0Ghz on up the FX-6300 actually was ahead of the 965BE. Assuming you are swapping video cards to keep it equal. Congrats man.

RGone...ster.

I do'nt know what happened to that screenshot.
I would never exceed amd limlits.
the rigs.
965, asus m5a97 R2.0, crucial 1600 ram, hd 7770 standard.
6300, asus sabertooth, corsair 1866 ram, hd7770 overclock edition.

I started a little high with the ram on the 6300 so i had to mess around a little more with it.
I have two steps more with the 6300 but that would just be showing off.

our friend earthdog made a comment in a post about 1600 ram being the choice for fx, lets see.

i made a comment about 2400 being the better cpu/nb speed for fx, lets see.

U preachen to the choir man. I have found just about identical results running DDR1866 ram over my DDR1600 ram on my FX processors on CHV board with increased CPU_NB frequency. Thanks for the images of the various runs. Pics is more gooder than words.
RGone...

It shows out to be 1866 @ 2600 to be the best C_ _ D i think its more like to be 1600 for Haswell builds than AMD. Especially those Gskills i mentioned to Oldie they worked a treat! AJ.

I too am just Putzen roun with C_D's cpu...

We been doing some testing back and forth and brainstorming and all that stuff you can do about fast testing AMD 8 core FX processors. I know he will be glad to get this cpu back since he has new board and P/S. But that is another story altogether. Hehehe.

Beat my own 9.12 Cpu score in Cinebench R11.5 @ 5.3Ghz.
Bobert...:welcome:

C_D 5.3Ghz CineB CPU.jpg

Nice work Bobert, you're gonna give C_D a complex if you keep borrowing his parts.
That loop of yours does a great job. I'm pretty sure Manny said he got a 9.33 in the dead of winter with all the windows open. Hehehe

9.33 I wish, that would have put me in the lead. 9.22 was soo far away. I'll have to make a go at it this winter with my new/old benching Ram 2133 7-10-7 timings :D, though I wish I could get my lil piggy to run over 2k on the ram. :(

OOPs that's just my fat fingers and a lack of quality control. It was supposed to say 9.22

Rgone, Well, what do you think of the little lump?
I got my chv-f-z board in and the 8120 making heat in the storage room along with my 6300 so it's nice and toasty.
I really think that I'm just going to rebuild mt chv-f board for the 8350 as I just can't stand the bios for the -z board, to many weird issuses when you up date it.
I thought about putting the -z under the 965 but on the m597al r 2.0 board it's just to nice of a package to break up right now.

have you guys kept up with ocmusicjunkie?
it seems that we have learned to do all our work as a user and only log in as admin when we are off the net, or just to make it easy, just use linux on the net.

Rgone, Well, what do you think of the little lump? = I was exceptionally impressed until I reached about 4.8Ghz then it wanted more Vcore than my FX-8350. At 5.4Ghz which it will do...it is going to take a metric ton of Vcore.
Bobert...ster.

Ya last I checked everything he had was infected to some degree and most was unusable. Poor bugger.
