Hey just got it up and running small prob need to fix first my settings 1280/1024 32bit. Ati radeon 8500. Ok what is happening is that when I boot up the post screen looks like widescreen and when I start games same thing. Is there a setting in the bios for this or is it somewhere else????

your could try new video drivers.
does it happen at a low resaultion maybe the monitor don't like that one

Sounds like you may just need to play with the horizontal and vertical adjustments on your monitor.
