Hey guys. I have Monday off and the kiddo is going to school so I'll be benching everything Monday. The CPU will be going cold and GPU ambient. I'll stream the whole thing if anyone is free to watch.

Why are you doing CPU cold and GPU ambient? This is the wrong direction with Intel.

Well, first and foremost I don't have a GPU pot. Second, this SNB-E has a brick wall on ambient at 5.1GHz. Any higher and it dies. It might not get any higher, but I have to try. Need to make up in CPU for what I can't get in GPU clocks. UCBench seems to only give a crap about CPU clocks. Same with WPrime.

Sometime around 9-10 EST. I think that's GMT+5 but I'm not sure.

Poo. My 01 scores is going to suck. They don't have an XP driver for the 7970, so everything has to go thru 7x64 for video. I'll pop another card in for xp 2d benching tho.

I am struggling getting a high clock on my CPU using xp, I could get a much higher clock on 7 , but havnt benched anything on xp yet, just been loading drivers etc, see how they compare , if the clock to score is way off I'm going back to 7

Hey guys,sorry about the no show lately,been super busy with a poorly dauhter, but finaly got the new board set up , going to crack the rest of the benches off this week. Seem to be able to get a better oc on this board (890fxa gd70) but I've heard horror stories about the mosfets on this board but it was a cheap buy so worth a try I thought, plus it unlocks my 960T to a x6 which is allways a bonus.
