Best way to attach 1/2" barbs?

I have a radiator with what seems ot look like 1/2" fittings but no barbs. I wanna attach 1/2" barbs, but I dont know how to connect it securely to the existing fittings on the read.

jbweld should do the trick, it seems the most popular choice in the forums

JBweld should do it. I think half the weight of my case could be good ol' JBweld. Good Stuff. Just dont get it on your clothes.

ask a plumber....This is the way to go.
