Core is labled as follows:

AMD Duron
D850AUT1B
AKCA0109MPMW
40999151051
(tm)(c) 1999 AMD
ES

So what's the ES mean? Hard to search for, tried here and google. I know it's an older chip, but was just wondering.

Engineering Sample.

You got yourself a semi-rare chip ;) hang on to it just because you can say you own one :D

Cool that's what I figured it means :) And to think I won that in the latest FAH contest!

Edit - What do they use the Engineering Samples for anyway?

All the bridges appear to indicate that it is a locked 850, ie the L1's are all cut.

I'm waiting to get another mobo to put it in, cause I don't want to tear apart my h2o to put it in.

Can't wait to try it out though.
