CPU-Z shows running at 3d speeds on desktop

Not sure if this is right, maybe AERO on Windows 7 requires this, but without running any 3d apps, my GTS 250 is clocking in at full 3d speeds.

Checked Riva Tuner and it reports the same.

Is this normal?

ya areo is a 3d application... so when there is animation its gpu accelerated.

I kicked it down to windows basic theme (non aero) but it doesnt change the 3d mode on the card.

Someone want to check this on their own Win 7 install and see if the card is always in 3d mode?
