Well, i have a 13inch core duo (not c2d apparently) macbook with 512mb ram running osx and winxp (boot camp) And xp is very laggy or something ive done likes to eat ram, and the video memory is shared. Not sure but in windows my lappy even lags in 1.6 down to 30-40fps, i cant play source with more then 8fps at dx7 on low. I see people on youTube playing on high acceptably.
To get to the meat of my thread, when i go into crossover and try to instal steam, it wont let me install to y or z (thinks network or cd drive) and makes me install to c, which after i cant find. But when steam opens and updates i get runtime error c++ unusual request to terminate or something similiar.
Cant figure out whats wrong, anyone have ANY ideas as to why it does this?
