From what I hear, maybe 1-2c maybe even 3 c difference.

If 1-3c will make a difference with your o/c and stability, then go for it.
If not, save your money. ASII is already pretty good.

not much difference really. i still have my as2 halfway used. and im not itching to get an as3. thermal dissapation performance increases are minimal.

Well 2-3 degrees maybe from Arctic Silver 2 however, if you convert I advise you just to lap your heatsink for like 5-10 mins with a high grit to take off the previous AS2 in the sanding marks in your heatsink to get the full performance.

I say just stick with the ASII. By the time you use that up ASIV will be out, and they you can expect to see a 2-4C differance. ;)
j/k

I'd stick wth AS2. I haven't ever really noticed the differance... You can more than amke up the 1C differance of AS3 by doing just a perfect job applying the AS2. ;)
