Direct connect in Act of War

In Act of War is there away to connect direct to some one using lan with this game?

Unfortunately, the developers never had time to put that in. But there is a way though. You can use third party support like Hamachi. I have used it before and works pretty good.

That thing works great. Allows my friends and I to direct connect to play AOE3
