F@H not submitting completed WU's

Earlier today i happened to look at my folding@home panel and noticed my previous work unit had not submitted, even though it had completed several hours ago. I rebooted my computer, and left it alone assuming a server was just down or something. But i keep getting assigned work units, and now i have 3x completed WU's pending upload. Is anyone else having this issue, or did something break on my end?

Try powering the PC down and waith 30sec then turn it on and restart F@H and see if that helps, I had 1 of my 4p's do that.

I hit 5 completed WU's when i was about to go to bed. Since it was taking so long, the point values were getting so low it wasn't really worth the electricity cost to continue, so i powered the pc off for the night. When i re-booted in the morning, all my wu's successfully uploaded, so i guess the problem resolved itself.

Well there you go had you powered down and unpluged the PC for about 30 sec - 1 min then power back on, it would have uploaded those WU's

I've noticed slow-to-upload WUs along with a lack of CPU WUs; GPU seems to be fine.

One of the SMP servers has been taken off line for repairs. It is uncertain when it will be back up. In the meantime, there is a shortage of SMP WUs and resources.

If your talking about A3 WU's, I have not seen any in years, all I see is A4's and that's for single core CPU's. That's what I understand anyway unless it was changed.
I have no shortage of A4's or A5's.

A3 looks like it is now end of life as I haven't seen any in months either, core A4 is the current standard SMP core and will cope with jobs upto about 48 threads but the normal is usually a maximum of 24 depending on the project. core A5 is still resevered for the "Bigadv" WU

There are rumours and posts about a new AVX enabled SMP core but I'm not holding out much hope that it will be here soon

The problem is that in order to fix the issue described here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=28169, I need to stop assigning WUs from my work server. The consequence of that is that this is causing a big shortage of CPU WUs because I provide most of them. I'm working on a fix and will post an update once we're back online.

I am frequently getting "emtpy work server" from FAH where my 8 and 12 core CPUs sit idle for long periods of time.
