I found graphic drivers (Hercules Prophet 4500) for Madrake 8.1 do you think these drivers will work in Mandrake 8.2? its an rpm file

I am not aware of major and massive changes in Mandrake 8.1 -> 8.2, so you should be OK. Try it and see

do:
rpm -Uvh --nodeps --force <rpmfile>

You should have two rpms - a kernel module (install this first) and a GLX rpm.
