Just need anything that works to connect 2 notebooks wirelessly in my apartment and maybe 1 desktop. Need a cheappo thing that works! Don´t know if I should pay more for aspeed booster model... Does it work better???

i reccomend specifically agains the linksys befw11s4, have 2 of them at work and they both are having problems with crashing, other than that im not familiar with the others. everyoen seems to love the wrt54gs.

I use it and its never gone wrong :)
I have dealt with many linksys routers and they are ok..nothing too special. I would go with D-Link. Thats my vote.

It has very good wireless range and almost anywhere in my house it works.
D-Link has many firmwares for it and dlink support is great.
 
Definitly get the Linksys wrt54g as you can upgrade the firmware and almost have an enterprise like router....... Also the speedbooster will only work if you are sharing files amongst the computers and they have all have matching speedbooster wireless cards. It wont matter with your internet connection as the router is much faster than the internet connection.
