Hi do need help with my overclock.
I have tried to get my PC stable ad 3800 Ghz. The test’s that I run prime95 14 hrs and 10 hrs blend are =OK, Memtest 7 hrs 10 passes =OK, Intelburn 10 runs “high” = OK. OCCT 1 hr large data= OK , Buth when I run FSX my system reboots. I don’t know if FSX beeing on a different drive (SSD) is the problem?
Hope some one can help me solve this and get my system stable.

Post your complete system spec's, including MB, RAM; including quantity, etc. In the meantime disable EIST, C1E, and C-States. Also enable LLC, and instead of a 1:2 DRAM divider at a FSB of 423MHz = DDR3-1690, try a lower FSB : DRAM ratio = a lower effective DRAM frequency.

Whow that was fast.
My specs are:
striker II extreme,
cpu: q9650
Ram: CMG4GX3M2B1600C7 V 1.5 – 1.65 (2 x 2GB) corsair
PSU: Ultra X4 850W
HDD : WD 1500HLFS
Cooling: corsair H100
Sound Card : Supreme FX II .
Win7 64 bit, home premium

and i will try your advise.
FSB memory ratio I have 5:4 or 3:2. any suggestions?

thanks!!!

Maybe I'm read the OP wrong. But he run Prime 95 for 10+ hours and he's stable. But crashes when he tries to run a program off the SSD. I'm thinking the problem is not the OC but the SSD.

Hi me again,
I did as You suggested, also increased The Vcore to 1.33750 which is (maybe) still to low because ADIA64 gives me 1.39... most of the time?
I did used FSX today without any problems. But trying to run a (SSD)diagnostic scan i had a reboot and after that a massage that i need to contact the
re seller or manufacturer. So it seems that there is also a problem with the SSD.

Hi and thanks.
I do have a Intel SSD X52M 80 GB drive. After using the trim tool the error message went away. I do have BSOD but some times also just a reboot.
FSX is the only program running on that drive. I'm doing some more testing to check it. I do also have a question about AIDA64. What to do with the readings. exp my bios Vcore = 1.33750 and AIDA64 shows 1.392. How serious is that and use AIDA64 readings as a guide line or not?

Hi, it's some time now. did some flights(FSX) in the last week, and ( still crossing my fingers) had no crashes so far. Looks like ( at least i hope so)problem is fixed.
Just to let U know. I mean. It's nice when U have a problem and people help that U let them know how things are going OK!!!
