How do I overclock my new intel pentium 4 2,66 ghz?
This is my PC:
ATX 300 W, 2 x USB front, Mainboard : ECS L4VXA2L
Chipset : VIA P4X400(nb) VIA VT8235 (sb)
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 2,66 ghz 533 mhz FSB 512kb cache, memory: 1024 MB DDR PC-2700, club3d ati radeon 9700 pro, Sound : 3D sound on board, PS2 keyb/muis,6xUSB(2.0),2xser.,1xpar.,Audio: micr.,line in/out, Slots: 5xPCI 1xAGP 8X Modem : 56K6 or ISDN faxmodem intern, Lan : 10/100Mbps, CD-station : LG 52x CD-ROM player, Hdd : Maxtor 80 GB U/ATA 133 7200 rpm, Fdd : Sony/Mitsumi 1.44MB.
 
First of all you need a better PSU ( read my thread Problem!!). Than all you have to do is to raise FSB in BIOS in 5 Mhz steeps ( be careful for temps, you shouldnt get over 55C full load ). Also take care of ram speed. When you reach the maximum speed on default Vcore try to raise it a little ( never above 1.65-1.7V ). Good luck!!!
