Hi,
I would like to know if I can overclock my video card. It's called the Riva TNT2 by Nividia and it has 16mb ram and it is located in the APG socket. It's in a Gateway P3 600mhz Performance series desktop with 320mb Sdram. I would apreciate any information you can give me about how to overclock my video card. Below are some additional specs on my video card.

Welcome to the forums!!

I overclocked my roommate's TNT2. He's got a HP. The card is built onto the motherboard and didn't OC very much. So I gave him an old TNT2 AGP card and it OC's incredibly. He's getting about 1500 in 3dmark now, where before he could not even run the benchmark.

You'll need a tweaking program. Look on www.guru3d.com
Coolbits
Rivatuner
Nvmax

All of those are useful for overclocking nvidia cards. You'll also want to test the performance and stability of the overclock. For that you should try 3dmark2001se (you'll need DirectX 8.1 available from microsoft). 3dmark can be found on www.madonion.com

For the older cards, I find NVMAX v3 useful, and Coolbits being the easiest to use.
