How do i setup a Quake Linux Server?

How can i setup a quake server linux based i have windows version of Quake 3 Arena and i have downloaded the updated patch for quake3 and now i am lost as in what to do (yeah first timer in linux )

WOW, have not seen or should I say noticed baqai around in a while. HI!!
Hey baqai, why the linux?? am very curious cause I was thinking of dual boot.
Wish I had info on the server set up, sorry not even a first timer on that os yet.

yeah just got a job so been busy for a while

my boss wants me to setup a lan server in linux for quake3 not that i have any choice in that lol, now i have more problems i need to learn linux QUICK and i need to learn how to setup gaming servers hehehe

i do know a lil way around with linux but not to the level of using command line to install games and stuff
