how to enable dual channel

Is there a setting to enable dual channel? I have the memory in dimm 1 and 2. i have also used 1 and 3. How will i know when it is in dual channel mode? thanks

it automatically is enabled when you put it in those dimms. i think it's those dimms check your manual to be sure

Put 1 stick in slot 1 or 2 and put the other in 3. Using the third slot in combination with either 1 or 2 enables dual channel. In your bios set to either 100% or auto, which will work in sync with your CPU FSB. This apparently gives the best performance.
