Hello all.

I recently purchased a new Intel Mobo, the I845GEBV2, the board is rated for DDR 333. My question is this, has anyone been able to use Corsair XMS3200 successfully with this board? Or is it limited to 2700.

I got the board for a steal ($79.00 shipped), this is the first Intel board that I've ever owned, so I'm lost and need some help quick.

Thanks.

You'll probably be limited to 333mhz memory settings, regardless of memory speed.

Nice deal on the board, BTW :)

I figured that, but I had to try.

I'm building a new system for my wife, I'm bringing her up from a 700mhz celeron with PC100 SDRAM to a 2.5ghz P4, with DDR 333. Think she will notice the difference? ;)

Thanks again for the info.

I think so :) Intel motherboards are easy to work with, if you don't plan to OC at least...
