Raid 5 has the CPU doing the parity calculations, but honestly if they can do everything else WTH would they have problems with that.
Maybe intel's starting rumors that there ES's have issues so people will quit buying them LOL. <-- blaitant speculation

Not limited to Conroe. PCM has proven challenging to run on all the systems I have built/used . It will not/did not run on my Opty 165, Opty 144 and Venice 3200.
