Lite-On SOHC-5232K Write problems...

hello, jst got this drive today... tried burning 8 (48x CDR's) cds @ 48x speed and it took 5min 25secs to finish.. should only hav been like 3... i noticed that the buffer is running up and down until it reaches 20% and above then it stabilizes @ 98% buffer... tried using my dvd-writer @ 40x with same cdr's and it finished @ 3 mins... something wrong with my drive? replys are highly appreciated...

edit: btw dma is enabled and using latest firmware...

PROBLEM SOLVED! jst switched it from master to slave... and it burns a complete cd @ 2mins15sec
