MS to offer FREE upgrade to Win 7

Mind giving us a source for that information? Everything I've read so far either implies or states outright that you must have an existing Vista SP1 installation in order to install the Windows 7 beta.

I think I read it on the Win7 blog site. I'm currently waiting for the page to load so I can verify...

I have it clean installed in a VM, and it went smooth and quick.

And this time they might actually be 7 capable.

They will have to say "designed for windows XP" to be windows 7 capable
