My NF7-s Rev 2.0 Won't enable to 8x & fast agp write Whyy??

My rig consits of

2500+ mobile
2 ocz platinum's 256 X 2
550w antec psu
9800xt
80gb western digital

What i'v already tried to fix my problem...

-set rig at default speed

-Checked bios configuration made sure both 8x was enabled and fast write was enabled

-reinstalled the ati driver and software catalyist

- enabling 8x in the smartgear optiopn upon restart... it retests upon start of and remains on off for the 8x option ... and fast write does not enable...

- reinstalled windows .. with sp2... framework as noted on the ati site... and latest catalyest...

- flashed bios...

I'm going crazy i can't figure it out ... please help anyone

several guru's take their time to help us newbs out.

dont know much about ati cards but use driver clean pro to remove your current drivers(the readme file will show you how to do it, reall easy) and install older drivers that you know worked.

again, post in that link and try the ati video card section as well.

Been there, done that....glad it's fixed. It's a semi-common problem. Motherboard drivers can fix a lot of things
