Ok people.

So I foolishly said to the missus the other day she could have my laptop (old macbook) due to her dell being a pile of turd and pretty much being dead.

I have a budget of around £600-650, going to be used for a tad of gaming while i am away, movies, the general jazz.

I have narrowed it down to a few options. (any other suggestions are welcome)

Top end/a tad over my budget:£650-80

Middle end:£590

( i think the dell has a GT 630M )

Low end:£500

laptops are defo not my forte, and i am not 100% what will be worth it. I think the novatech one with the i7 + 650gt is pretty good for the money, but do i genuinely need a i7 over an i5? I only just realised the i5 laptops models are dual cores with HT rather than 4 core without HT. So thats a little bit of a downer. Also the novatech ones have 750gb hybrid HDD's which look alright VS only a 250 in the PC specialist and a 500 in the dell.

Any advice would be great.
