I have a p3 750(slot version) running at 900Mhz(120 Mhz FSB)
core voltage 1.75V
using retail heatsink
abit BE6-2 revision 1.02
BIOS version 6a69ka19c-qj Date:17 jan 2000
temperature at full load <43 degrees Celcius

runs rock stable at 900 MHz but is unstable according to StabilityTest Program when i try 938 Mhz(125Mhz FSB) or higher
i want to exceed 1000Mhz(if possible with retail Heatsink)
will updating the BIOS help?
Please give me every tip possible
I Must BREAK THE 1000Mhz MARK!!!!!!!!
thx in advance

To get to 1 GHz you need to crank up the core voltage and get better cooling. Figure on 1.85V and lose that retail H/S fan.

What type of memory do you have in your system?

PIII 700E@1030 w/alpha, BE6 II, Mushkin PC133 Rev2.0

i'm using Hyundai PC133 CAS3 sdram. should be enough.

You might want to try the p3125 alpha Heatsink/fan combo, many online cooling vendors sell it, IMHO it's the best :)
