I just got 5 120mmx38 panaflo fans, and I want to see if my psu can handle them all.

They do not have connectors on them, so i was going to attach all the red wires together, and all the black wires together. Then I was going to attach them to a molex connector, and plug it in.

Will this put too much load on one connector?

The fans are Panaflo FBA12G12M. Rated at .45 amps.

.45amps? 5 fans? Thats, um.. <counts on his fingers> .. 2.25 amps @ 12v - most PSUs could easily handle this. If you want to make sure, check the amp rating for the +12v line on your PSU.

Just make sure you don't short the bare wires ;)

Ok I set it up, and my psu seems fine.

None of the voltages seemed to change too much. The +12v went from 12.33 to 12.26 (measured with a volt meter).

This psu I got from a compusa case seems not too bad.
