hi,I am having a problem overclocking an IS7 E2 .
I have one stick of kingston 512 DDR 400 value, and another of DDR 333 kingmax
if I try to put FSB higher than stock speeds in a ratio of 1:1,I get problems (BSOD's,etc')

but the strange thing that it is runing rock stable with FPS of 146 ,N/B strap by CPU,and ration of 4:5.....(my memory that is rated for a speed of 166 mghz is runing at 181) .
so I don't think that my memory is limiting me.....

any help on to overclocking it to 3.0 mghz(that is my goal)?

I will be getting another half gig of DD400 anyway,I just want to find a solution in the meantime...

:welcome: to the forums.

The real problem is the fact that your using 2 different memory speeds. That would send anything haywire. Pull the DDR333 out and run the DDR400 alone till you get another of the same. Dont add another DDR400 and then put the DDR333 back in for more total RAM.
