I can get the both for basically the same price, with the Geforce being 20$ more. I have a hard time overall deciding between Gefore or Radeon, but i mostly play games such Mass effect, the witcher, assassins creed 3 when it comes out. No fps games at all, nor competative multiplayer games. I will only use the one gpu, im not high on using dual cards or anything.

reviews for both cards:

Its confusing with different sites having so different benchmark results.

Welcome to OC Forums one small thing you may have over looked is the vram size of cards these days. And the games requiring more ram overall, so not only you need to consider the cards. But you need to take into account the ram size as well. AJ. :)

I would say the posts ive done will give you a better idea, but i would go with the Sapphire with the 3GB Ram!

I came in inquiring the same thing. I am looking to replace my 460, not because it is bad, I just feel like it, really. I have seen benchmarks of the new drivers and they are decent, the 7950 isn't THAT much ahead though, stock for stock it is around 10% more. The 7950 seems to be able to OC like crazy though, while the GTX460ti isn't so much. Another difference is that the 7950 comes with 3 games that I don't want, while 460ti has Borderlands 2 ( yay ) and Assassins Creeds 3 ( meh ). I CAN sell the 3 games from the 7950 though, but I would rather not have to bother with it.

The 660ti has been on sale for much cheaper, I have seen it for as low as $225. The 7950, now that it has the gaming bundle, has not been as cheap. It is around $280. Does anyone think the 7950 is THAT much ahead of the GTX660ti?

The 7950 is the same performance as a GTX 670, so its a step up from the GTX 660TI.

As tikithorsen said its a no-brainer.
