i see on ebay the 1100T goes for ~$160 should i try and sell it? and get a 8350?
problem is i may need a new mobo which will cost $100 do you think i should do it?
You got your 1100T at 4.1 on 1.4125, and you want to sell it? My 960T needs 1.44-1.45 @x4 to get those clocks. I'd keep the Phenom and save up for the 8350 and a mobo.
im mostly asking think if my Mobo get a updated Bios should i sell my 1100T and get a 8350 or 8320 because i will be over clocking so as long as the both clock as high im would be happier with the cheaper one and they both blow my 1100T out of the water
If PD follows anything like BD in the clockspeed department the only difference between an 8120 and 8150 in terms of max speed both live way outside of the realm of 24/7 cooling. I ordered the 8320 to replace my 8120 which I took as high as 5.3 Ghz on watercooling
There are changes in 9xx boards that are not in the 8xx boards and I expect more changes are involved with the PileDriver series. I think that is why you see the Asus boards in R.2 when there has been no new chipset actually released.
