"shuttle" cases

Has anyone else had any problems with these?

I have found the design impedes the cases ability to suck in cold air.

Both my mother and girlfriend have had different mobos in "shuttle" cases die out.

Anyone else?

Are you talking about the case or the barebones SFF computers?

As in, are you planning on buying the deal that comes with the motherboard pre-installed, or just a case on its own??

I have a P4 based shuttle as a HTPC. Been running strong for over 4yrs now. Runs cool and is quiet. I did a slight mod to it, I added a 120mm Fan to the rear in a Push-Pull with the stock 80mm fan internally. CPU never goes over 45c, and it almost always is expelling barely warm air. I have seen on a few of their cases that some may have bad air flow, but you can always do a little modding to get the result you desire.
