Stupid backgeround stretch!?!?!?!

Ok i updated my vid drivers to the 30.82's and i still dont get the option to stretch my background.

Anyone have any other ideas of what affects having this option displayed. Im leaving a reinstall of windows as a last resort

Seems weird. I'm running with the 30.82 drivers on my back-up rig. And the display properties looks nothing like yours.

Do you have DirectX 8.1 installed?

I suggest resizing the image with a photo editing suite

hmm...how about loading the image into IE and then right clicking and select as background image?

That picture fits the screen. the pic is 1600x1024(also the res of my screen). Yes i have directX 8.1 installed. ANd right clicking on them in IE just puts them on there at there regualar res. I just want to try and get this option back since its a little anoying have to edit all the wallpapers i have to fit my screen when i know there is something that should be there will do it instantly for every wallpaper i have when selected.

u have a weird properties screen, ive never seen one like that before
