How high temp. can my P4 2.0a tolerate? now it is 53 when i am playing! is this to high?

Nice temp dude.... Just like mine 63C at full load. A foot warmer in winter.

sorry, but that is way too high.

53c is a little too high, but 63c......needs better cooling.

Yeah high, especially for "only" 2Ghz. Look at heatsink mounting and thermal grease application (done clean? done right?) or else you could use a new HSF unit.
