Unable to login into my asus router

Hey, i recently bought a router which is not working properly. I am using this router(ASUS) from past 5 months. But from last few days i am unable to login into my admin panel. I am using the 192.168.8.1 IP to login to my account. If anyone knows any solution please help me.

Can you please post the model number of your router?

Try router.asus.com (http:// in front).

Worst case if you cant remember the username/password, follow the manual procedures to reset the router to original config.

192.168.8.1? I thought most every one I've seen in the past was 192.168.1.1 as the default... could be wrong, though.


And as wagex said above, resetting to factory defaults will also reset the l/p to be able to get in as admin and start over. If this isn't working, something may be broken.

Good catch TR... it is 192.168.1.1.
