I was wondering if i should upgrade the processor in my pavillion dv6700 laptop. It's a 2.0 GHz 800 MHz fsb intel mobile t7250.

According to HP i need a processor that has an 800 Mhz fsb is this true?

also i want to know if it is even worth it to upgrade the processor. I hope to build a gaming desktop eventually and would probably only need the laptop for those situations requiring portability, which is surprisingly often, but regardless.

I do use the laptop for gaming, and if i could i would upgrade the gpu since it only has 256 MB of memory, but since i cant...

HP Pavillion dv6700t
intel core 2 duo t7250 2.0 GHz
3 Gigs of ram
nvidia geforce 8400m gs 256 MB
250 gig hard drive
windows vista ultimate 64 (will be upgrading to windows 7 professional 64 soon)

Replacing the hard drive with a nice SSD would probably cost about the same, but provide a more noticeable increase in performance, and also increase battery life.
