hi all

I have hunted high and low for a good 120mm fan for the xp-120 and i think i have found it and was woundering what you think

its the

Enermax UC-12FAB
RPM 2300
Rated Voltage 12V
Rated Current 0.20A
Power Input 2.4W
Air Flow(max) 94.92CFM

its the lowest noise fan i could with the best air flow

i want the lowest noise but still a good air flow

the panaflow fans where abit more in the sound and abit less in air flow to

so what do you think are these good fans or is there another

yeah those are great stats. I do have that low speed, high cfm fan. It is pretty loud at full blast. If that enermax fan is anything close to the stats you posted it is a gem. I wish someone came out with a bracket for the xp-120, to mount fans without holes down low. I have these nice sanyo denki fans (someone selling them in ocforums) and nothing to put them on, because at each corner there are these long connecting tubes going from the screw hole on one side, to the screw hole on the other side.

Here is the forum thread: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=319526

pictures conveniently don't show you can't mount them on an xp-120.

ahhh, like this:

newegg review[/URL] )]Reallly good fan that pushes a lot of air. Noise level is pretty good overall. My only complaint is that the speed adjustment is very cheap and cannot be adjusted easily since the cord doesnt reach around the computer. CAUTION: This fan will not work with the Thermalright XP-120 heatsink, it will not fit.

im wondering what this could be about??
the fan looks like it should fit to me

I can't even remember. it has been down for 2 or more weeks waiting on a video card. Temps were in the low 40s at full load, I think. I'll get back to you when I get my card next week. double check your newegg link, it doesn't go anywhere ;)

heres the link to new egg

he dos say it will not fit but why ?????? maybe you have to cut the edges like the picture above.

just found this it tells you why thay dont fit and that you have to grind them heres a review here telling you this so it should fit if your cut the fan

dont bother me i will cut it to bits if i can get it to fit like the picture above
have to look at a panaflo picture fan to compaire with the enermax to see what the diffrences are

oh the thing is i live in the uk so i need a retailer in the uk for these parts
????
