Which cable?

Hey guys,

Can you help me decide what cable to buy?

I just bought a refurbished IBM 21" P260 CRT monitor. There is some slight ghosting, and I suspect the supplied VGA cable may be faulty.

This monitor has both VGA and DVI connectors, as does my video card, a Radeon 9100.

I want to buy a new cable for the monitor to see if I can clear up this ghosting problem. I'm not sure whether to buy a VGA or DVI cable.

Would I get a better quality display if I go with a DVI cable, or does it make any difference?

Thanks

I don't know. I know for sure with LCD's that DVI is better, mostly b/c of the way LCD's were designed. I don't know about CRT monitors though, I've never heard of one that had DVI. THen again I haven't had a CRT in three years. Well, couldn't hurt to try with the DVI cable.
