Which is a better card and why?

I am confused about these two cards seems so identical but yet the price are much different. A friend tried to explain it to me but I am still confused. lol

The 2GB 550ti is the better of the two you linked but for not much more you could get a better card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130662 I have one of these (in my dads rig).

The extra ram on the 2GB card will help at very high resolutions with intense textures. Of course that card doesn't have the power to run at very high resolutions with intense textures, so it seems a bit pointless to me.

I prefer cards with more vram myself, but that Zotac 560ti for around $200 is a good deal.

Not sure when exactly it is supposed to be released or the exact price ($250 - 300), but the 660ti looks like it will be a very nice card, maybe you could hold out for one of those.

There's this 560ti OEM as well i found. I was thinking of buying one myself but I have no need for it. 1280MB but not a 448core model. i wonder if it has 448 cores on it or not.
