Which is better for games (FPS types) connection?

Ok I am moving to a town stuck in the internet stone age (no DSL or cable), but a WISP is coming this month (I hope) & I could get Verizon Wireless internet there. So is faster speeds better for fast paced games?

Faster speed is always better, but if it's satellite then forget it. Speed won't matter because the latency will be too high to enjoy any FPS. If it's just wireless to a point and then wired out to the network, it will be worse than wired but better than satellite.

Yes generally it does but faster speed does not always result in faster ping or latency for when you are ingame. i have ADSL (1.5MB/s download) but have absymally poor ping for games such as Call of duty 4. If i could, i would get some niced cable or ADSL2+
