i use windows for work and to play games. but i loaded linux mint on a laptop recently to surf the web and it does amazing job loading sites and booting up. i have more problems with my systems that have windows vs system that runs linux.

Windows has been working for me for 5 years,it is on my work computer.i rarely play games.

I use Linux Mint. And that is what I love.
It offers me every resource for free and allows me to alter it the way I see fit.
It lets me handle my software. I get the freedom and control of my device.
I don't have to wait for a provider to solve the operating problem for me if and when it occurs.
These are the points off the top of my head now. I will update this answer as new reasons dawn on me.
