It seems that the VM models are always cheaper except these come with onboard graphics which I dont need. Can this be turned off easily enough. I don't want any conflicts with my AGP card.

Installing an AGP card will automatically disable the onboard video.

Ok I guess that settles it, thx. 
You would think that onboard video would make the board cost more though.
