pc2700 memory on a pc2100 mobo,,,,

Memory prices on pc2700 are cheaper than pc2100, at least where I have seen. I have an ecsk7s5a mobo which will take pc2100 or pc133 memory. Do you think pc2700 mem would work ok?

While the PC-2700 will work on the mobo. It will be running at PC-2100 speeds. So you won't see any extra benifits from it. If the 2700 is cheaper then go for it.
All memory is backward compatable. As long as it fits in the slot

Thanks - I kinda figured it would work. Right now I have pc133 memory in it and I can only run my fsb at 100/100 which equates to my proc running at 1.5 instead of 1.8 (xp2000) Just want to run my fsb at 133 so my proc is running at rated speed.
