Right now i have 512 Kingston value ram pc3200 ddr400 with a barton 2800...I wanted to get some more ram..Im planning on getting a 512 pc3200 samsung ram. the question that comes along is, can i overclock this system without any trouble coming from the ram?

depending on the age of that barton, you may be able to lower the multiplier and raise the FSB which will give you killer RAM speeds and a very nice Overclock on that Barton. Just be careful. Try to lower the multiplier by 1 point and see if it sticks after the reboot. If it does, great, you have a very nice Barton. If not, oh well, they are still nice CPU's.(512k L2 cache):)

i got an unlocked barton, i just checked...so hopefully it'll go smoothly..thanks for the replies
