How do I format my external 250gb usb2 hard drive which is fat32 file system, so that it becomes a NTFS file system.
 
Start>run
type cmd and hit enter

then
Code: 
CONVERT X: /FS:NTFS

Replace X with the drive letter of it.
This will keep any files on the disk.
