Can dual layer burn a Store Bought Dvd perfect?

Just wondering if these new dual layer dvd burners can burn a dvd like Blade with out compression. I have a old dvd burner and i use DVD X-copy and it takes away the image quality. With a dual layer burner can u just copy 1 to 1? Can i use a program like alcohol? Will it be just a raw image copy to copy?? and do i have to buy dual layer disk?

i think it should be able to. If you use normal DVD X-copy, I think that should work as well. DVD X-copy xpress (and maybe Gold too) is the one that compresses the video.

yup 1 to 1 no compression is needed but cost is high for dual layer discs.
