im very new to O.C. and at the end of this month i plan on getting a new mobo,cpu,ram. The mobo has a ton of tweaking according to the reviews but nothing about the settings they used i like to be able to OC it to max on air heres links the the items i plan on getting. I like to oc the ram if it makes a difference

From everything I've read, HyperX doesn't OC well. Then again at 1066, I don't think OC'ing it is going to bring you much improvement. Also, with 2GB you will have a much easier time than using 4GB or 8GB. :)

I don't know anything about that cooler but it looks like the standard tower design so should do fine.

There is (was?) a promo code for the E8500 making it $180. Use code EMCLRLN34. It's not much faster than the E8400 but imho worth $15 more.

As for settings, that's going to be a lot of trial and error as is the nature of OC'ing. ;)
