I am planning to purchase the followin items in Canada:

Intel C2D E8500 $230 CAN
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P $165 CAN
Mushkin XP2-6400 DDR2-800 1GB x 2 $60 CAN
OCZ Summit OCZSSD2-1SUM120G 2.5' 120GB $415 CAN

I shall bring these components to Unitied Kingdom (UK), then purchase a 550W PSU in a local store.
Do you think I can successfully assemble the PC for my british friends without any issue??

UK has a different Voltage/Watt standard than in US/Canada. Would you think a UK PSU compatible with US/CAN PC components?

What If I purchase a Corsair HX620W here in US/Canada, would it works without any issue in UK?

yea... it'll work just fine make sure you set it correctly when you go to plug it in

you will need a different power plug , but yes it will work without an issue , all of those components will intact, it will be a good idea to check them all before hand tho .

also corsair units have automatic voltage detection no need to set anything , again just another power cord .
