ok i hate to have more than 1 thread in one day but this isnt the same ? and i need an answer soon im looking at two rams on newegg this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148307 (this one is 1333mhz with timings of 7-7-7-24 and cas is 7 and volts is 1.65)

and this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148308 (this one is 1600mhz with timings of 8-8-8-24 and 1.65volts cas is 8 as well)

i need to know which one is faster i really dont like overclocking ram so at stock setting which would be better??????? :)

The 7-7-7-24 are faster, but at 8 dollars more if you do not plan to overclock, then you can soundly stick with the slower of the two. There will be no real visible difference for you. If your soley asking because money is no issue, then go with the CAS 7. You may end up wanting to overclock later. ;)

um the cas7 1333mhz is cheaper than the cas8 1600mhz so which one because it sounds like maybe you got confused or maybe im a complete idiot im just not for sure which one the price isnt the problem the decision between the two is the problem for me i just dont know enuff about ram to be able to make the decision. sorry if i sound like an idiot please accuse me.

ok acura. the reason the cas8 1600mhz ram is more expensive is because it has a higher clock. I would get the 1600mhz ram. You can overclock it and lower the timings. 8 dollars is nothing to pay for a faster clock. Once you have it you can lower the cas to 7 anyways or even lower possibly
