I know Creative has released a set of updates drivers for the card... I use them with my 98se partition.

I have a copy here.

Not sure about the platinum 5.1, but my SB Live! works just fine with my A7m. No problems at all.

I'm using the platinum 5.1 with the A7m and it works absolutley perfectly...
