I am new to overclocking and i was trying to raise up the fsb speed so that i could get more mhz for my athlon xp1600+ but i cant find anything on the motherboard yhat will let me change it or the bios for that matter maybe i am looking in the wrong places could someone help me?

maybe you should look in your motherboard manual first. i doubt that board has any options for overclocking but doesnt hurt to check.

Well I checked the manuel it gives the option of 100/133 fsb, thats was all i could find..

Doesn't sound like you can overclock then unless you can find some jumpers for it. 133 is default for xp processors.

I have that mobo, or one similar to it. Chances are, the only way to overclock it is to use cpufsb. It is a program that lets you (usually) change the fsb while in windows.

well i d/l the prog but the highes fsb it will go upto is 83.3mhz most likely theres something im doing wrong if so please help me out..
