9600 pro coming up as 9600?

hi, finally got my system built. i installed the latest cataylst driver from ati.com and it says it's a 9600 SERIES, any suggestions?

try using the omega drivers (Omega) and see if it does the same thing.

it still comes up as Radeon 9600 SERIES

i think when it means series, it means pro/non pro/se and nething that has the 9600 name

yeah, somebody in my tech class told me the same thing. Also, when i use the omega overclocker, i o'c, then it seems fine, but when i restart, it defaults itself. software problem? should i download and use rage3d? setting the clock speeds too high, making it restart? or is it just the card?

dunno, lol. all i know is that the drivers that came w/ my vid said 9500/9700 SERIES. updated to cat 3.6 and it says 9500
