E6850 or Q6600 for the same price?

A cashier showed me one Q6600 box in Duluth, GA. It was a SL9UM stepping B-3. I didn't ask her to get the guy in the cage to rummage around to see if they have any SLACRs though.

yeah thats what I figured but I guess I'll drop by anyway by the one in Guinnett

Ill be going e6600 for sure and as long as it runs at atleast 3.0 ill be happy, but not so happy that i wont try to push it higher with my water :0)

However in-store they have another deal of $299 for a Q6600 and a ECS or some cheapo mobo. I went in and asked for a SLACR (g0 stepping) and they looked but they only had SL9UM (B3 stepping)
